There is currently a lot of confusion when people buy their first probiotic. I hope that with this article I can clarify some of this confusion for you. When you are planning to buy the best probiotic supplement, there are three important things you should know.

The first is the number of bacteria in the product since probiotics are essentially good bacteria that live in you, the more bacteria in your product, the better. It is necessary to find a probiotic with at least 100 million CFU bacteria. Otherwise, there is a great chance that many bacteria will not reach your gut where they do all their work.









Second, you need to find out how to keep your probiotics. Not all probiotics are in the form of an easy-to-swallow pill. Some have to be cool; others have to be frozen. Some require you to freeze them and then liquefy them before using them. However, other probiotics can find as "living cultures" in many different food products.

As you can see, it is very, very important for you to understand how to get your probiotics. If you do not mind cooling or freezing it, be sure to follow this path. But I like my probiotics in pill form. That's because I travel a lot and sometimes I do not have a fridge in all the places I'm traveling.

Third, find out what types of bacteria are present in your probiotics. There are differences between bacterial strains and their effects on the body. So, if you really wanted to improve the symptoms of IBS, but accidentally bought a probiotic that contained only one strain of bacteria that did not improve the symptoms of IBS, you simply lost your money.

For safety, I recommend that you find a probiotic that contains more strains of bacteria to make sure you cover all bases. The best probiotic supplement should contain at least 100 million CFU bacteria, contains many different bacterial strains and is available as a pill.
